Remember that hideously pink painting I posted a while ago?  (If not, you can see it in all its pinkness here: http://karinkohlmeier.com/2013/08/pink-base-layer-for-my-next-multi-layer-painting/)  Not that I have anything against the color pink per se…but seriously, wow–that was BRIGHT!

A layer of Crackle Paste, a wash of paints, and a layer of Glass Bead Gel later, and it’s a whole different beast.  Here’s the final product:

I had planned to add a few more pours of paint after the Glass Bead Gel, but once that dried, I decided that I love it just the way it is.
