Sometimes candy is as pretty as it is delicious. That’s why this week I chose to illustrate (and celebrate!) February 15th, “National Gumdrop Day”: Dru went with this fantastic photo for February 11th, “Don’t Cry Over Spilled Milk Day”: There really is a day for everything!
This week, Dru and I both chose the same day: February 3rd, “The Day the Music Died”. I love so, so many things about Dru’s fantastically ironic photo: I chose a different, more general interpretation: That was a fun week. One of my favorites yet!
This week I went simple and straightforward (or not, actually, depending on how you look at it) with January 31, “National Backward Day”: Dru took a more serious route with January 27, “International Holocaust Remembrance Day”: I didn’t even know there was a Holocaust museum in New Mexico. I learned something new!
